Naugatuck Youth2Youth is a youth leadership group focused on empowering youth in Naugatuck to take an active role in their community. Participants plan community events and service projects and work with the coalition to learn about, understand, and address various issues within the community, including substance use, suicide, and problem gambling. Many participants involved in Naugatuck Youth2Youth attend the annual Youth to Youth Eastern States Conference at Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island. The conference focuses on substance use prevention and youth leadership development using a youth-led and adult-guided model. Some of our youth even apply to be Youth Staff at the conference, and spend two extra days getting facilitation and leadership training.

Please note that current school closures due to COVID-19 have put all of our in-person programs on hold.  Youth2Youth meetings are currently taking place via Google Meet

3rd Tuesdays

Naugatuck Youth2Youth meetings are the third Tuesday of every month,
from 5:30-7:30pm
at 13 Scott Street.

A huge part of every meeting is preparing and eating dinner together and celebrating that month’s birthdays.
