Step Up Naugy joined the Naugatuck Police Department on the Green on October 28. We collected 28lbs of substances that were otherwise sitting, unused and unprotected, in people’s homes. This is a great improvement from April’s collection of 11lbs.
Remember that Naugatuck Police Department has a drop-box for unneeded medications all year.
Our mission: to keep Naugatuck youth safe, healthy, and drug-free.
The primary vision of Step Up Naugy is to employ effective and sustainable strategies to prevent use and abuse of alcohol and other drugs among Naugautck youth. By building a network of concerned citizens, our coalition promotes healthy, positive behaviors and relationships in our community.
